SCS/HB 697 - This act requires the sexual offender registry list to be forwarded to the law enforcement agency for any college or university located within the county. Persons on the registry must disclose in their registration information whether he or she is enrolled in a college and to update the registration information within seven days of changing their enrollment or employment with a college within the state.

This act also changes the statute of limitations for bringing an action for a childhood sexual abuse case to ten years or within three years of discovery of the injury.
